Last month, Mayweather hurled insults at his one-time friend via Twitter. According to the rapper, Mayweather's self-interested entourage helped fuel the rift:

Last month, both parties claimed that the feud was merely a publicity stunt. At the time, 50 Cent said that Floyd was "like a brother" to him while the boxer claimed he wanted publicity when fans ignored him following his recent release from jail.
